Marijampole College
Marijampole College is a higher education institution that takes responsibility for providing education creatively. It is an open, reliable partner of regional, national and international culture, business and social institutions. The student focused study programs are oriented towards the development of competences and are based on the European/ international standards. It offers 21 Professional Bachelor study programs, as follows, Applied Foreign Languages, Culture and Sport Management, Dance Pedagogy, Image Stylist, Law, Music Pedagogy, Pre-primary and Primary Education, Social Work, Social Education; Accountancy, Agriculture Technologies, Automobile and Tractor Technical Exploitation, Business Management, Office Administration, Public Catering, Finance, IT and Tourism Administration. Education Studies and Social Work Faculty and Business and Technologies Faculty have over one thousand students and 120 teachers. The college quality culture is developed on the grounds of quality management system corresponding to LST EN ISO 9001:2008 standard. The college community is dynamically seeking professionalism: students and the teachers actively participate in the European mobility exchange programs and projects. The college has Development Study Centre, Career Centre, Learner’s Tourism Information Centre and Senior/3rd Age University “TAU”.
Marijampole College is located in the south-west of Lithuania, in Marijampole, which is the seventh largest town of Lithuania. The distance from Marijampolė to Vilnius (the capital) is 139 km, to the Baltic Sea – 231 km and to the border of Poland – 38 km.
